Yesterday was the jump up, today was Jacobs’s Ladder, plus a lot of other ups and downs. Officially we hiked 15.2 miles, but actually hiked another half mile or so when we had to backtrack to get water. It was a long day today, but tomorrow we only have seven miles to hike to Fontana Dam. We are staying at the Lodge, which should be nicer than the Budget Inn! We resupply there and the following day we enter Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Only took 3 pictures today.
