This morning we hit the post office shortly after they opened at 9, mailed all our extra gear home, and made one last stop at the only cafe in town for some coffee and breakfast. Many hikers left town yesterday but we still saw plenty of familiar faces. I think we got on the trail around 11:30, and we hiked 14 miles. We are camped near a creek, with only one other hiker here. Sure beats the shelter we passed with about 15 tents around it!
