26.2 miles today! We took advantage of the smoother terrain of the Shenandoah, starting at 7am and getting to camp around 7:30pm. There were at least 8 of us who made the goal today, so we’re all pretty excited and tired. Just as we got to camp a storm started so we ate in a hurry and hunkered down. This morning we saw a Barred Owl, and a few hours later we saw a bear, not a bad day for wildlife!

I keep saying it , but we are in awe of you both…the pics are awesome & it must be quite enjoyable to hike among all of the beauty that surrounds you . Be safe , love you.
