Days 90 and 91: Hiking with Amy

We’ve been hiking with Amy through most of Maryland. We went 12.5 yesterday and a little over 8 miles today. We are about ten miles from Pennsylvania, and tomorrow morning she will have to return to regular life again. It’s not easy hiking with people who have a thousand miles of preparation, but she was a trooper and claims she had fun so I’ll take that as a good sign! It’s been nice to take a more relaxed pace for a few days, but the midpoint is beckoning and we’ll be back to bigger days again tomorrow.
