Day 2: 24 Miles
Today was mostly cold, very windy, and, in the afternoon, wet. For most of the morning we climbed, so the cold wasn’t so bad. We stopped for lunch in the sun near a lake, but the moment we sat down, clouds moved in, the wind picked up, and it started to rain. We set up the tarp for shelter and tried to wait out the weather. After it became apparent it wasn’t going away, we resigned ourselves to our fate, and ventured into the cold wet weather. The final hour of the day was the warmest as it finally dried up. We even got a few views. Tomorrow should be dry and a little bit warmer.
Brrrrr.. but I loved the sun set photo
