This morning the weather was great and the terrain was easy compared to the past few days. We stopped for lunch at the Blue Mountain shelter with some lovely views. The day ended with a thousand foot drop over about a mile, only to climb right back up over the next mile. We are camping on the top of a mountain about 4000 ft, should be another cold one tonight, around freezing again. My bag has been keeping me warm though! Since we are dry camping there are not many of us here, 5 thru hikers and a man with his grandson who is up here with his ham radio, talking to other people in national parks and on summits. Photos:
