Day 40: Watauga Lake

hikinghammonds May 9, 2016 One Comment

Today we hiked around Watauga Lake and over Watauga Dam, then back uphill into the mountains. We were hiking slower than usual so we only put in 12 miles today. We have a really nice view back down to the lake and should have a nice sunrise if we get up early.

Did you kids ever think that hiking 12 miles was a “slow day”??? I’m soooo jealous and excited for you! Carry on~ 🙂
