It rained most of the night last night but had stopped by morning, and by late morning the sun started to appear. After being spoiled by relatively flat terrain for the past few days we were reminded we’re still in the mountains, and it was up and down today, with mud to make it interesting. We spent a good portion of the day on private lands and through pastures, and it stayed sunny most of the day. We hiked exactly 15 miles and are camped by a creek. No sooner had we gotten in the tent than it started to rain again!
