Day 57: 600 Miles

It was another really nice morning this morning, we were up early and had coffee and oatmeal and even a little fire and were on the trail by 8. Before long we crossed mile 600! In the afternoon we went to Trent’s grocery for a small resupply and a late lunch. There we met another thru hiker who is on his 4th thru hike of the AT, and his 9th long distance thru. He has also hiked the PCT and CDT twice each, making him a double triple crowner! He’ll surpass 20 thousand miles after this year, pretty crazy. We hiked not much further to camp near a creek tonight, a total of 14.2 miles today. It’s still a little cold but we took a dip anyway. Another day without rain, I think we could get used to this!
