It actually didn’t rain last night! We had under ten miles to our destination today, so we took a relaxed pace and made it into town by 1:30. It was actually a hot day today so we were lucky to be in air conditioning for the worst of it. We decided to push for a six day resupply which is longer than usual or necessary, but also saves a lot of time and gets us to the next larger town a bit faster. We also tend to prefer a real grocery store, and often times the smaller towns just have mini-mart stores. Plus, Paul is still not happy with his shoes after 400 miles in them, so we have new shoes being sent to him in Daleville. We ate a ton of Chinese food, bought a bunch of groceries, and watched a bunch of TV. Ready to get back into the woods tomorrow!
There is even a trail from the motel to the food lion!
