We took our time this morning, taking care of our last few errands in town, getting coffee and breakfast before heading out again. I think it was noon when we got on the trail, and today has been the hottest day yet, somewhere around 87. I think I sweat more than I ever have in my life. A little before 4 it started to storm. We got downpoured on for about 2 hours. It was actually a relief to get rained on in the heat, and it stopped in time for us to set up camp and cook dinner. It’s supposed to rain all night, but so far we have only gotten a few sprinkles. Tomorrow should be a little cooler than today thankfully!
