It rained while we were in town yesterday, and while we were grateful to miss hiking in it, today was still extra humid. On top of that, the storm yesterday and another last week caused a huge amount of downed trees on the trail. In some cases it was just a tree trunk to climb over, in some cases it was easy to go around, and in some cases it was a real challenge to get through. We hiked about 15 miles. We have a slower week ahead of us, but many milestones to cross which is exciting.
