Day 113: New York Means Business

Today was a really fun day, but it was also quite challenging. Many of the water sources are dry, even at the shelters, which means bigger water carries, and water is really heavy. Fortunately at virtually every road crossing trail angels leave many gallons of water for hikers to fill up. I think we hit water trail magic 5 times! We hiked 19.6 miles today, miles that included a good bit of scrambling, nice views, and tons of blueberries. In the afternoon we got fried chicken for trail magic! My feet are really tired from walking on hard rocks for two days, but New York has still been a neat section of trail so far.
