We left the hotel this morning with plans for errands around town after which we would call Steve, the guy who gave us a ride yesterday, to take us back to the trail. Turns out, he was already in the hotel parking lot, and ultimately drove us to Cabela’s, Red Robin, the gas station, and to the trailhead. It certainly made up for the trouble we had yesterday. We also reunited with friends we haven’t seen for a week or so back on the trail, and the weather was slightly less terrible, so not a bad day overall.
