Despite the fact that it rained last night and in the morning, the mosquitos were still out in full force. Even with bug spray on they are relentless. I am totally covered in bug bites. The trail in Connecticut has been very nice so far. After a month of rocks, the trail has dirt in it again! We went about 17 miles today, following a river in the morning before heading up into pine forest in the afternoon.
