This was a lazy day indeed. It rained most of the day, and it seems like every hiker on the mountain came into town. We saw people we haven’t seen since trail days! As usual we lingered in the hotel until checkout time forced us to move on. We stopped at the Post Office, then went to Starbucks for breakfast (first trail town with Starbucks). We lingered more, enjoying the town park, hitting the grocery store, generally avoiding hiking. Miss Janet is in town, and knowing we have a ride back to the trail we decided to hit the movies. We saw Suicide Squad at the local theatre, then grabbed some Chinese food to take along. We are camped at the trailhead, having done no hiking today but ready to hit the ground running tomorrow with no rain in the forecast!
