Today we’ve officially hiked 75% of the trail. We continue to creep upward in elevation, the high point of the day at 3900 feet on Stratton Mountain. The summit was tree covered, but there was a fire tower with excellent views. This was our second tower in two days, something I’ve missed since North Carolina. Paul even went up both of them, despite being afraid. We hiked 15 miles today, our shortest day in about a week. We got to camp by 4 and relaxed with a fire. Just five miles into town tomorrow, we are ready for a little rest.
Love the pics!
