The scenery has already begun to change as we leave the Green Mountains. We passed what is supposed to be the last on-trail deli, meaning we are headed for more remote scenery. We stopped at a trail angel’s house in the evening and were fed pasta and soda before going another 5 miles to the last shelter in Vermont. We are a few miles from Norwich, VT and Hanover, NH.
