Today we went over our last 4,000 footers until Katahdin: Bigelow Mountain and Avery Peak. We hit a few other smaller peaks to camp at the shelter at Little Bigelow Mountain. We went about 15 miles today, and we had great weather and clear views all day. Signs of fall are starting to appear, from the yellow tinge spreading on the leaves to the occasional red leaf on the ground. Elevation-wise it looks like we have some easier days ahead, at least for a few days.
Looks absolutely beautiful!
