We woke up early this morning and made our way down to the road, a 7 minute hike! We are staying at Shaw’s Hiker Hostel in Monson, the last town before the end. No grocery store to speak of here, but between the hostel and the gas station we’ve got enough food to get us through the next 100 miles. Tomorrow we go into the Hundred Mile Wilderness, which is actually not a wilderness at all, but it is the most remote section of the trail with no towns nearby. We’ve got five and a half days of food to get us to Baxter State Park. This is the home stretch. 🏞️
