Appalachian Trail Bird List

While I wasn’t really actively birding on the trail, I did carry a small monocular to help me ID the more common birds along the way.  I was able to add several new birds to my life-list, such as the Rose Breasted Grosbeak, Scarlet Tanager and Cedar Waxwing.  I used the Sibley Guide App, which was worth every penny!

Here is my list of birds:

  1. I’m the nerd, didn’t even know this was here, I found it on my phone’s “desktop”!!!! I think this is the greatest thing EVER! I LOVE birds and my lifetime list is qbout 1/2 your list! I’m so jealous of your adventures ! When do you finish???
