We go up early this morning and were hiking before 6 am. It was already warm outside, and combined with the lingering colds we were still moving slower than usual. Fortunately, as we gained elevation today, it cooled off a few degrees and got slightly less humid. We were also under a bit more tree cover, so there was more relief in the shade. We frequently popped out of the woods to beautiful views to Mount Shasta before heading back under the canopy. We saw a few old faces and met a few new ones today! We walked 26.9 miles, not too terrible considering our slow pace.
Sorry you are feeling bad, but the beauty must keep you going
