We hiked 17 miles today, our longest day since leaving Hanover. There were a few tough sections but overall the terrain has eased up a bit, allowing us to hike what feels like a real day. There are ponds and lakes everywhere, and some awesome views. Tonight we are camped near the shelter at Sabbath Day Pond. We had a huge fire big enough for everyone to cook their dinner on. Tomorrow we head into Rangeley for resupply.
Beautiful views, and I don’t mean all of those bearded men…ha ha. It looks like the Pacific Northwest
Great pictures!
