Day 118: Glacier Peak Wilderness

It was a hot and hazy day today. As we headed toward Glacier Peak our views were sometimes obstructed from the smoke. Still, it was a day off beautiful scenery. From our camp at Pear Lake this morning we hiked about 10 miles for a break at another beautiful lake. In 7 more miles we stopped at a pond for lunch. From there we had a huge climb as we entered Glacier Peak Wilderness, and lovely scenery for the rest of the day until we stopped to camp near a creek.  The mountains are rugged and beautiful. The trail is difficult but rewarding. The weather is warm. We did 28 miles today.
