We had a 15.5 mile day into town today. Our place was fairly slow as we are both feeling tired, but we were in town by 4, and the hotel is right off the trail. Most of the day was humid and hot but we also got an afternoon rainstorm. It didn’t rain enough to soak my feet or get too muddy, and it stayed too warm for rain gear, so the rain wasn’t so bad today. We had a lot of nice viewpoints along the way. We saw our first copperhead snake today too!
