Today was another scorcher with terrible water sources most of the day. Bad enough that we stopped at a deli off a road crossing to get a gallon. In the middle of the day we stopped at a shelter to take a break from the heat. Once we started hiking again we got rained on. It cooled things off nicely but I still hate hiking with wet socks. Hopefully this will help the water sources a bit tomorrow. Just one more day in New York. We went 16.8 miles today.
I have been watching the weather in New York and thinking how horrible it must be! Hope it cools down soon
