It was another hot one today and we put off leaving town as long as possible. We hiked 7 miles in the afternoon to the first shelter out of town. We ran into another hiker we haven’t seen in a couple months, it’s always nice to run back into people. We’re camped near a river, it’s nice to have abundant water for a change!
