Today we took the shuttle from town back to the trail and hiked out about 5 miles. Since it was such a short and easy day we hiked out sausages and sauerkraut and cooked them over the fire. It’s raining tonight so we are all in the shelter, probably about 15 people in here. Someone brought some decks of cards and we played a round of skulls. We are less than 5 miles from North Carolina.
